With a strong foundation in manual data warehouse testing, I am now transitioning into the exciting world of XR game development. Throughout my career, I have worked with industry leaders such as IBM , Infosys, Wipro, and ADP , gaining extensive experience in quality assurance, problem-solving, and structured testing methodologies.

As I pivot into game development, I am expanding my expertise in immersive technologies, focusing on Unity as my primary game engine and Meta Quest as my device of choice. I am currently working on Augmented Reality games and utility/productivity apps for Android devices, bringing digital elements into the real world to create interactive experiences that entertain, engage, and enhance efficiency.

My passion lies in blending technology and creativity to craft innovative XR applications that push the boundaries of interaction, enjoyment, and learning.

TimeTraveller-AR

This is my first attempt at Augmented Reality (AR) with the Unity Game Engine for Android mobile devices. It is a first-person shooter (FPS) that provides a fully immersive experience within the real world around you.

The inspiration for this game came from my initial experience with Unity—augmenting an animated Velociraptor in my living room! This sparked my curiosity to explore more about AR Foundation, Vuforia, and the core mechanics of Unity.

    Game Experience:
  • Walk through time portals.
  • Shoot at dinosaurs & aliens.
  • Collect ammunition and solve puzzles.
  • Engage in battles with realistic 3D sound & haptic feedback.
Game Development Challenges
  • Randomized the idle state animation of characters using script and blend trees
  • Stopped drifting of Time Portal in space, using AR anchor manager.
  • Gun clipping issue was resolved using an additional weapons camera with depth=1.

TileSim

TileSim app was created as a proof of concept for a client of Chervic Advisory Services.

Tilesim provides an augmented preview of the ground and wall tiles of a building which can help customers make an informed choice of the tiles to be laid in their homes with the approximate tile count and cost estimate.

App Development Challenges.
  • Using a Line Renderer to define the boundaries of detected planes for more precise and cleaner rendering of the tiles.
  • Tiles are generated based on the tile size selected by the user.
